Female Institute
At the Imam Muhammad Zakariya School, also known as the Broughty Ferry Mosque, the Female Institute is a dedicated morning learning space created especially for sisters. It is a welcoming and respectful environment where women come together to learn, reflect, and strengthen their connection with Islam. These morning classes are designed to support Muslim women in deepening their understanding of their faith in a calm, supportive, and uplifting setting. The focus is on nurturing both knowledge and spirituality, helping sisters grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
The Female Institute follows Sunni Islamic teachings, based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah as understood by the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. Lessons are delivered with sincerity and care, ensuring that knowledge is authentic, clear, and practical for everyday life.
