AboutuS

The Imam Muhammad Zakariya School, also known as the Broughty Ferry Mosque, is a place where faith, learning, and community come together with sincerity and purpose. Located in the heart of Broughty Ferry, the institution serves both as a mosque for daily worship and a residential educational establishment dedicated to nurturing minds, hearts, and character.

Education is at the centre of our mission. Through the Imam Muhammad Zakariya School, Muslim pupils and students are taught authentic Islamic knowledge alongside essential life skills. The goal is to develop individuals who are grounded in faith, guided by strong moral values, and prepared to contribute positively to society. Learning here is holistic: shaping character, discipline, and responsibility as much as intellectual growth.

As Broughty Ferry Mosque, the building remains open to the wider community and offers a calm, respectful environment for worship. The prayer space encourages reflection, humility, and focus, allowing worshippers to step away from daily pressures and reconnect spiritually. The atmosphere is one of peace, simplicity, and devotion.
