Teaching Quran the easy way

At the Imam Muhammad Zakariya School, also known as the Broughty Ferry Mosque, our Children’s Madrassah is dedicated to nurturing the next generation with sound Islamic knowledge, strong faith, and beautiful character. The Madrassah was established to support the religious and spiritual needs of Muslim children within the local community. Our aim is to create a caring and structured environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow closer to Allah while learning the foundations of Islam.

Our Madrassah strictly follows Sunni Islamic beliefs and practices in all teaching, methods, and activities. We are committed to teaching Islam as understood from the Qur’an and Sunnah, and we are unable to accommodate practices outside Sunni Islam.

  • Encourage prayer, Qur’an recitation, and good conduct
  • Foster respect for teachers and Islamic learning

When home and Madrassah work together, children flourish both spiritually and personally.
